I'm starting to get a complex. First Marissa Mayer dumped me, then Danny Sullivan did. And I didn't even get the whole speech about still wanting to be friends. Oh well!
Looks like my debut as a cohost on Webmaster Radio will have to wait a week or two. I was supposed to cohost today with Danny but it looks like that date will be moved to early March. Apparently he's a little tied up at the London SES show.
And my interview with Marissa Mayer on what personalized search will mean for the Google user has also been delayed. Now we're shooting for an interview sometime next week.
Speaking of personalized search, my SearchInsider column today deals with the inevitability of personalized search. It's always tough writing these columns because I'm one of five writers and when a hot topic like personalized search comes along you can bet that everyone will be writing about the same thing. To further complicate matters, the column is due to three days before it runs so you have no idea what will be coming out during that period and if you'll be repeating something that's already been said. As luck would have it, although so far this week three of us have written about her personalized search, all of us have taken a slightly different take on it.
